Search and commands: Cmd+K or Ctrl+K
Press Cmd+K on a Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows to open search from anywhere in the app. Press it again to close it. It works even while you are typing in a field. You can also click the Search box in the header.
Start typing to find:
- Your deals, contacts and brokers
- Listings you viewed recently
- Pages, reports, settings and Academy lessons
- Actions such as Add deal, Upload CIM, New task, Log call, Open Quick Calculator and New Pricing Report
With nothing typed, it shows your recent items, suggested actions (including ones for the deal or listing you are viewing, such as a Pricing Report for a listing) and the main pages. Once you type 2 or more characters, it always offers to search all listings for what you typed or add it as a new deal. Recent items are remembered in this browser only. Search works on every plan; actions that need a paid plan show a lock.

Press ? to open the keyboard shortcuts sheet. It lists the shortcuts for the page you are on first, then the rest. You can also find it in search as "Show keyboard shortcuts".
On-Market Deals (feed)
These work in both the card and list views.

- Dead deals are revived from the deal page, not with [ or ].
- The first time a deal moves to Closed, you are asked "Did you acquire this business?" See Pipeline Management.
Deal page
Press / to open Ask AI for the deal.
Undo rules
- Passes: U brings back the most recent pass. It keeps working while you stay on the page.
- Stage moves: U, or the Undo button in the message that pops up, reverses a stage move within 10 seconds. This applies to moves made by keyboard, drag and drop, or the stage menus. Days in stage restart either way.
- Moves into Closed and moves out of Closed or Dead cannot be undone this way. Killing a deal is not undone by U either; revive it from the deal page.
- When a move marks a milestone, such as your first LOI, use the "Moved by mistake? Undo" link on the milestone instead. It works for 10 minutes.
- Saves cannot be undone with U.
- Undo history is kept per browser tab and cleared when you leave the page.
When keys are ignored
Single-key shortcuts do nothing when:
- You are typing in a text box, search field or dropdown
- A dialog, menu or popup is open
- You hold Cmd, Ctrl or Alt (only Cmd+K and Ctrl+K are used)
- A button or link has focus and you press Enter (Enter clicks it instead)
Holding a key down does not repeat actions that change data, so holding X will not pass a row of deals. If your account is read-only because a payment failed, shortcuts that change data are blocked with a message pointing you to billing.
On mobile
Phones have no keyboard shortcuts. Tap the search icon in the header to open the same search and commands.
