Deal Watch: Price Drops and Relists

Deal Watch keeps an eye on the deals you saved and tells you when the price drops, a deal comes back on the market, or the broker revises the numbers.

    What is watched

    • Every deal in your pipeline, in any stage except Closed.
    • Dead deals you killed as Too Expensive. For these you only hear about price drops, since a cut may bring the deal back into range.
    • Other Dead deals and Closed deals are not watched.

There is nothing to turn on. Watching starts when you save a deal. The example deal and Flippa listings never get price alerts.

    What counts as a change

    Price drops

A drop has to be at least 5% and at least $25,000. Both the old and new price must be at least $50,000, and the new price must have held for about a day, so a same-day flip back never alerts. Listings whose price keeps bouncing up and down, and jumps too large to be real (usually a data error), are skipped.

The drop is measured from the price when you saved the deal, shown as "since you saved this". If you saved it before we started tracking prices on Mar 6, 2026, it is measured from that date instead. After an alert, the next one is measured from the new price, and a deal gets at most one price alert every 7 days.

    Price increases

You are told about a price increase only when the deal is in LOI Sent or Due Diligence, where it may signal a re-trade and is worth knowing before your next broker conversation.

    Relists

A relist is a deal that was marked removed or sold for at least 7 days and then shows up for sale again. A deal marked sold that comes back on the same listing reads "Back on the market after a sale", since the sale may have fallen through.

    Revised financials

You are told when the broker changes cash flow by at least 10% and $20,000, or revenue by at least 10% and $50,000.

Deal Watch checks for changes once a day.

    Where alerts show up

    • Pipeline cards: a chip such as "Price dropped 12% since you saved this", "Back on the market" or "Cash flow revised down 15%". Hover for the details: the old and new values and the date for price and financial changes, or the dates it was removed and listed again for a relist. A chip stays for up to 30 days.
    • Deal page: a Deal Watch note with the same details.
    • Notifications: an in-app notification with a View Deal link. You get at most 3 individual Deal Watch notifications a day. Anything beyond that is rolled into one summary, such as "4 deals you're watching changed".
    • Navigator: a change can appear in your Navigator brief as a "Revisit" action.
    • Feed cards: any listing whose asking price has dropped at least 5% and $25,000 from the first price we tracked, within the last 60 days, shows a "Price dropped" badge, whether or not you saved it.

Deal Watch alerts live in the app. There is no separate Deal Watch email for now. If you already receive the Monday Navigator email, it can list recent larger price cuts (10% or more) and relists on your saved deals.

    Relisted under a different listing

Sometimes a business comes back as a new listing, often on another broker site. When we find a new listing that looks like the same business, the deal shows "Looks like it's listed again" with three choices:

    • View new listing opens it in the feed.
    • Switch this card to the new listing asks you to confirm first. Your notes, tasks and pipeline stage stay on the card, and it shows the new listing from then on. This never happens automatically.
    • Not the same business dismisses the match, and that listing is not suggested again.

    Dismissing and muting

    • Click the x on a chip or on the Deal Watch note to dismiss that alert.
    • To stop all alerts for one deal, open the deal and choose Stop watching this deal in Quick Actions. Choose Watch this deal to turn it back on.
    • Dismissing a Deal Watch action in Navigator as Not relevant mutes that deal for 30 days.
